Before obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Chiropractic from Murdoch University, Dr. Brad’s fascination with the human body and anatomy began during his high school years. He laid the foundation for understanding human movement by acquiring Certificates 3 & 4 in Personal Training before delving into Remedial Massage. His initial passion for the body evolved into a commitment to aiding individuals grappling with musculoskeletal issues, propelling him toward a career in chiropractic.
He firmly believes that prioritising pre-habilitation sets the foundation for a pain-free and fulfilling daily life. It involves proactive measures to prevent issues before they arise. Then, rehabilitation addresses any challenges, followed by consistent maintenance to ensure optimal body function and agility. His practice encompasses treating a diverse range of conditions, from mobility restrictions to sports-related injuries, with the aim of restoring movement and enhancing overall well-being.
“Like a fine whisky, holistic chiropractic blends the art of healing with the love of science and lifelong learning, nurturing not just the body, but the spirit within.”
In my evaluation process, I delve beyond mere identification of a patient’s current discomfort or ailment. I adopt a comprehensive approach, scrutinising the body holistically to uncover the underlying dysfunctions that have culminated in symptomatic manifestations. Pain, whether it be in the hips, back, head, or shoulders, merely serves as the endpoint of a chain reaction, often initiated long before.
I continuously strive to enhance my proficiency and understanding of the human body. I pursue my passion for expanding knowledge that I can pass on to my patients’ care. By integrating the latest evidence-based practices into patient care, I have witnessed remarkable improvements in those grappling with chronic pain.
As a father to a young daughter, Dr. Brad recognises the significance of leading a pain-free, functional life to fully engage in active moments with loved ones. He himself embraces an active lifestyle, relishing activities such as walking, hiking, cricket, and impromptu football matches in the park, while eagerly pursuing new hobbies.
Recently, he’s taken an interest in attending rodeos, finding them to be enjoyable family outings. Despite his allegiance to Collingwood in the AFL, Dr. Brad’s diverse interests extend beyond sports; he previously worked as a tour guide at a whiskey distillery, fostering a deep appreciation for the art and science behind whiskey production.
